Itinerary
Day 1
Arrival to Cappadocia Airport. Transfer to the hotel. Accommodation in Cappadocia.
Day 2
Departure from the hotel for private excursion. Visits to an underground city, the Pigeon Valley and Esentepe panoramic view point with the landscape of Uchisar fortress. At the end of the tour, Turkish bath (optional) . Accommodation in Cappadocia.
Day 3
Balloon ride at early morning (optional). Departure from the hotel for private excursion. Visits to the Göreme Open Air Museum, listed by Unesco as a World Heritage Site, that can be imagined as an ancient religious complex full of monasteries and churches carved out of the rock and decorated with the admirable frescoes during the Byzantine era. Continuation to the valleys of Pasabag (Monks’ valley), Devrent (Imagination valley), and to Avanos town, famous with its pottery. At the end of the tour, Whirling Dervishes Ceremony (optional). Accommodation in Cappadocia.
Day 4
Early departure from the hotel to Konya City. Visit to Sultanhan Karavanserai , built in Seljuks era. Continuation to the Theological School of Dervishes and the Museum of Mevlana, (the sophist philosopher). Accommodation in Pamukkale.
Day 5
Depart from the hotel to discover the travertine terraces and the ancient city Hierapolis in Pamukkale. The thermal water terraces here are one of the most spectacular natural wonders. The word Pamukkale means the cotton castle and comes from the beauty of the white and turquoise colors. During the excursion you will have the opportunity to swim in Cleopatra’s Ancient Roman Pool (take your swimwear). continuation to the ancient city of Aphrodisias. Accommodation in Kuşadası.
Day 6
Departure from the hotel for visits to ; House of Virgin Mary, the Basilica of Saint John the Evangelist, and the Ancient City of Ephesus, an important religious, cultural and commercial center of Asia Minor in ancient times and takes the attention of the whole world for its ruins today. Continuation to recognize a Craft Center of the region. Accommodation in Kuşadası.
